About me
I was born in Tartu and I have lived here all my life.
I began to learn Finnish in 1980 and started teaching in 1988 when due to the opening of the borders Estonians began to form work related and personal connections to other countries.
A few years later I started translating. At that time a lot of joint enterprises were founded and I was translating for them.
In the beginning of the 1990s tourists started coming to Tartu and guides were needed, so in 1993 I became an attested guide of the city of Tartu. I am also a founding member of the Tartu Guide Association.
All these years I have actively participated in many supplement courses and trainings.
Working as a guide has so far taken me all over Estonia and the Baltic States, and to many countries in Western- Europe also.
